OCDE Project GLAD® NTC - Guía Suplementaria

This product is only available to active certified OCDE Project GLAD® Trainers. The purpose of the Guía Suplementaria is to give biliterate educators guidance to findings of current research that supports effective instructional practices for biliterate students. The strategies outlined within the Guía Suplementaria are based on research that supports how dual language programs close the gaps in opportunity, expectations and achievement for our dual language learners by building biliteracy and creating cultural proficient classrooms.

This guide intentionally makes visible how transferable and non-transferable skills should be taught to bridge both languages, while also teaching the nuances of the Spanish language. Lastly, we believe that this supplemental resource provides global academic Spanish terminology that is much needed in our biliterate educational community.
